More and more upcoming films remaining in 2020 prepare to launch their marketing campaigns with cinemas due to reopen en masse in the coming weeks. The latest now is Thomas Bezucha’s Let Him Go, which was due out originally later this month but now will be released by Focus Features at the end of the year. The first trailer for the film has been rated today by Consumer Protection BC, and we expect it online in the coming weeks.

Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge and his wife Margaret leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.

Starring Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, the film is set to be released in U.S. cinemas November 6, followed by the UK on December 4.
