Following a surprisingly long wait – the teaser trailer dropped back in October – and with a month to go until the film’s release, Warner Bros. has prepped a brand new full-length final trailer for Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The piece – which is almost definitely going to be red-band given the ‘coarse language’ mentioned – has been rated overnight by Consumer Protection BC. We expect it to arrive online surely any day now, given how close we are to the film coming out next month. As always, we’ll have any official announcements right here as they come in…
You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
Starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, and Ewan McGregor, the film is released February 7 in the US and the UK.
