The Clio Entertainment Awards (formerly The Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards) announced the shortlist of finalists for its 2019 edition earlier this week – honouring some of the best marketing materials for film, TV and games over the past year, including some brilliant trailers.

Some of the biggest films of last year, as well as 2019 and 2020, feature in the teaser trailer category, including Top Gun: Maverick, Joker, It: Chapter 2, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as well as Netflix’s Roma. The streamer’s debut trailer for Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman also landed a nomination in the Best Trailer category, along with overall campaigns for Roma and Bird Box being shortlisted for the Integrated Campaign category.

Other notable nominations include the stunning second trailer for James Gray’s Ad Astra, the debut look at Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, multiple trailers for Jordan Peele’s Us and the U.S. materials for Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite.
