Since the announcement back over the summer that Wonder Woman 1984 would be skipping San Diego Comic-Con, speculation has been rife over when we would get the first footage from the film. And now, we know almost exactly when it’s going to happen.

Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil, which has hosted a number of major SDCC-level launches over the past couple of years, has announced tonight that Gal Gadot will present the world premiere of the debut trailer for Patty Jenkins’s sequel on December 8, during a panel for the film at the event. Given this trailer is likely to then screen in cinemas later that month with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (expect a lot of trailers in time for that release), an online release that same day is very likely – if not, then in the days following the event. Update: WB will live stream the panel on Twitter.

As always, we will be sure to update with further details as they come in but in the meantime…just another 48 days to go!

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, and Robin Wright, the film is released June 5, 2020, in the UK and the US.
