It appears that we are set to finally get a first glimpse at Sam Mendes’ follow-up to his James Bond projects (and the fantastic The Lehman Trilogy, if we’re counting theatre) next week. The teaser trailer for the director’s World War I epic, said to be presented as a single-take sequence (lensed by the legendary Roger Deakins) in the vein of Birdman, has been rated overnight by Consumer Protection BC, no doubt in time for it to play theatrically with Hobbs & Shaw. We therefore expect it to arrive online at some point in the next seven days; as always, stay tuned here, as we’ll be sure to update as more info comes in.
