The Hollywood entertainment advertising industry came together last night for the Golden Trailer Awards, celebrating the best trailers, spots, posters and other advertising for film, television and video games of the past year. Coming away as the biggest winners were John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and A Star Is Born, with five statues each – as well as Netflix with the biggest number of wins per distributor, with 16.
The debut look at Chad Stahelski’s threequel, put together for Lionsgate by trailer house AV Squad and featuring Andy Williams’ ‘The Impossible Dream’, turned out as the Best In Show winner on the night! Some of our favourite trailers from the past year, including first looks at Avengers: Endgame, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Roma and more also took home statues in their respective genre categories.
