The first trailer for the DC/Vertigo comic adaptation The Kitchen is, at last, on the way ahead of its summer release. The new look was rated today by Consumer Protection BC and we expect it online in the next few days – most likely in time to go out to cinemas for screenings of John Wick: Chapter 3 nest week and/or Godzilla: King of the Monsters at the end of this month! Three 1978 Hell’s Kitchen housewives’ mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. Left with little but a sharp axe to grind, the ladies take the Irish mafia’s matters into their own hands–proving unexpectedly adept at everything from running the rackets to taking out the competition… literally.

Starring Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, James Badge Dale, Brian d’Arcy James, Margo Martindale, Common and Bill Camp, the film is released August 9 in the US, followed by September 20 in the UK.
