Seems like the studios are preparing looks at a big number of animated films to go with Dumbo next week. On the heels of trailers for Toy Story 4 and news of an upcoming look at the Angry Birds sequel, the first trailer for DreamWorks’ Abominable has been prepared by Universal to release very soon – it was rated tonight by Alberta Film Ratings. If it’s with Tim Burton’s latest, we expect it online sometime in the next seven days – as always we’ll update when more info comes in!

When teenage Yi encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, she and her mischievous friends, Jin and Peng, name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.

But the trio of friends will have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish, a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara, to help Everest get home.

Featuring the voices of Chloe Bennet, Albert Tsai, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Eddie Izzard, Sarah Paulson, Tsai Chin and Michelle Wong, the film is released September 27 in the US, followed by October 11 in the UK.
