While we are all waiting like crazy for our first glimpse at the untitled Avengers finale, Marvel are teasing our patience with the drop of a brand new look at Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel tomorrow.

Disney announced today with a TV promo on ABC that they will be following the strategy used for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi – the Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN tomorrow featuring the Eagles vs. Redskins NFL game will play host to the premiere of the film’s full trailer. Rumours indicate that this may then be followed by the long-awaited debut of the Avengers: Untitled trailer on Wednesday – when a date and time are officially confirmed we will be sure to have them here.

The game begins at 5:15pm PT/8:15pm ET/1:15am GMT with the trailer airing at halftime, so unfortunately for those of us outside the Americas this is yet another late night drop. UPDATE: See when the trailer is due to drop in your time zone. In any case, we will be sure to have the new Captain Marvel look here on the site on the morning of Tuesday the 4th!

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg and Jude Law, the film is released in the UK and the U.S. on March 8, 2019.
