UPDATE: Universal Pictures UK has informed us, alongside the launch of a brand new poster, that the trailer will arrive online this Friday.

Seems like everyone wants to get their trailers in front of the trifecta of A Star Is Born, Venom and First Man on the big screen over the next two weeks! Universal, the studio behind the latter Neil Armstrong biopic, is set to join in the fun with a brand new look at the Christian Rivers-directed and Peter Jackson-produced Mortal Engines – the third trailer has been rated today by Alberta Film Ratings.

This comes following the announcement of a panel for the film next Friday, October 5, 12pm ET at New York Comic-Con, hosted by frequent Jackson collaborator Andy Serkis and featuring the film’s cast and creative team. With it being almost a certainty that the new trailer will go out on the big screen with Damien Chazelle’s latest, this provides the ideal platform for a public/online launch of this next look at the upcoming release. As soon as we get more info, we will be sure to update!
