Time and Space constrain us, but they also define who we are, creating inexplicable bonds with the others that flow with us at the same time and through the same places.@ROMACuaron pic.twitter.com/HHV0C9bD56 — Alfonso Cuaron (@alfonsocuaron) August 16, 2018 ROMA […]
ROMA follows Cleo, a young domestic worker for a family in the middle-class neighborhood of Roma in Mexico City. Delivering an artful love letter to the women who raised him, Alfonso Cuarón draws on his own childhood to create a vivid and emotional portrait of domestic strife and social hierarchy amidst political turmoil of the 1970s.
The film is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 30 and will be released this December on Netflix, as well as in select US and UK cinemas.
