The UK’s BBFC has today rated what appears to be the final trailer for Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. With the runtime clocking just over 100 seconds as opposed to 90 or 60 on the dot, this does appear to be a brand new piece as opposed to a shorter recut of the full-length domestic and international trailers released last month. A slew of variants of this ‘Trailer X’ with the branding of UK’s various cinema chains has also been rated, indicating that this new look may be to encourage fans to buy tickets, with sales starting very soon.
This follows an extended 3-minute-plus IMAX preview of the film being rated a few weeks ago, likely to play from this weekend during IMAX shows of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in North America. Stay tuned for more details on all this as we get them.
