Well, time to put this one to rest. After a very long wait, we finally have more or less official information on the arrival of the first trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Ticketing service 1iota revealed in their listing for Monday’s Good Morning America taping that the trailer will premiere during the broadcast. (H/T @StarWarsStuff & @Smokemonster_)

UPDATE: The mention of Solo on the listing has now been removed.

This follows countless rumours that the first look at footage from the film will air during the Super Bowl this Sunday, February 4. What this, put together with the GMA announcement, seems to imply is that (as the guys at Making Star Wars heard just before the 1iota news) a TV spot may still air during the Big Game, but the full first trailer won’t debut online immediately like with Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Skyscraper.

We will be sure to have the trailer here Monday afternoon UK time – expect it sometime between 12-2pm UK/7-9am ET/4-6am PT.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Starring stars Alden Ehrenreich as Solo, alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo and Paul Bettany, the film is released May 25 in the U.S. and UK.
