While we may have technically already had two trailers for the Untitled Deadpool Sequel, none have featured substantial footage, or a tease of the story, from David Leitch’s highly-anticipated follow-up. But now, we may just know when a brand new trailer will be coming online as well as in cinemas.

The team at Collider are reporting that the new look will arrive in cinemas next month in time for Black Panther, with an online release planned for Valentine’s Day (February 14). Given the first film had a carefully-planned build up for a full trailer launch at Christmas, this isn’t a particularly surprising move; and debuting theatrically with Black Panther was all but a given, bearing the new May release date in mind.

However, all this is yet to be confirmed or announced by Fox themselves – and we will update when and if it is – but we’re trusting Collider on this one! Stay tuned for more soon.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, with Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz, Deadpool 2 is released in the UK on May 16, followed by the U.S. on May 18.
