The second trailer for Eli Roth’s remake of Death Wish has been rated today by the Manitoba Film Classification Board. This follows an announcement back in October that the release of the film has been pushed back to March of this year – it was previously dated for November 22. Expect the trailer to arrive in the coming weeks, likely in time to play in U.S. cinemas with releases including The Commuter, Proud Mary and 12 Strong.
Dr. Paul Kersey is a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of Chicago violence when it is rushed into his ER – until his wife and college-age daughter are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts his family’s assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media’s attention, the city wonders if this deadly vigilante is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.
Starring Bruce Willis, Vincent D’Onofrio and Dean Norris, Death Wish is out March 2 in the United States, with a UK date to be announced.
