We know you’re all dying to hear some news on the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer, but there’s another Marvel Studios film on the horizon that needs the general audience’s attention first.
The BBFC has rated the second trailer for Black Panther this afternoon – no doubt in time to debut theatrically with Thor: Ragnarok which is released in the UK and other international markets in just under two weeks. A new full-length trailer was previously shown as part of an extended sizzle reel at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer; it’s currently unknown if it’s the same piece but given Marvel’s history with convention footage like this, we expect it to be.
Expect it online sometime in the next two weeks, and we will be sure to keep you updated on more details, including online release date, as they come.
T’Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
Starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis, Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is released February 12 in the UK, followed by the 18th in the United States.
