UPDATE (March 22):
Martin McDonagh is back. The In Bruges director returns to the big screen this year with Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and Fox Searchlight are set to drop the film’s first red-band trailer this week. Deluxe Digital Cinema have sent the new look out to North American theatres to play with Wilson this weekend, and as soon as the trailer lands online (which we expect to in the next few days), we’ll have it here.
After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby, the town’s revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Dixon, an immature mother’s boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing’s law enforcement is only exacerbated.
Starring Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Abbie Cornish, Peter Dinklage and John Hawkes, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri arrives in cinemas later this year, with a release date to be announced likely alongside the trailer this week.
