UPDATE (Feb 4): we can now confirm that the longer trailer should be released this coming week – per Deluxe Digital Cinema, the trailer has been sent to U.S. cinemas alongside copies of Fifty Shades Darker which opens next Friday. We will have the trailer here as soon as it’s online.
Original post follows:
Universal just dropped the ‘announcement video’ for Malcolm D. Lee’s Girls Trip – but that’s not all because the film’s first actual trailer (red-band, no less) has been rated by Consumer Protection BC today.
We expect it to arrive next week ahead of Fifty Shades Darker. In the meantime, check out yesterday’s announcement teaser below:
When four lifelong friends—Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish—travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there’s enough dancing, drinking, brawling and romancing to make the Big Easy blush.
Girls Trip is released July 21 in the U.S.. No UK release date has been set yet.
