UPDATE (8 Dec): Director Matt Reeves took to Twitter tonight to drop the news that the trailer arrives on Friday! (H/T @Tamolition on Twitter)
We expect it online at the usual time of 6am PT/9am ET/2pm GMT, and we’ll have it here when it lands. The trailer screened earlier today for assembled press at a Fox slate showcase event, and is said to be different from the version shown at New York Comic-Con.
Original post follows:
Matt Reeves’s War For The Planet Of The Apes was one of the upcoming 2017 releases which had a presence at New York Comic-Con a couple of months back. The director and star Andy Serkis were on hand to present not only select behind-the-scenes footage, but also an extended sequence from the film, and an early version of the film’s teaser trailer. Speculation has been abound since then about when the trailer would come online, and it appears that the question has been answered.
Germany’s FSK have officially rated the 91-second sneak peek today – which we are expecting to arrive online in the weeks ahead in time for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a ‘little indie movie’ where no doubt cinema managers will have a lot of trailers, all demanding attention, to choose from to screen to audiences.
If you can’t wait, you can check out some reactions to the trailer at NYCC in our post here.
