Michael Fassbender Dives Into The Past In Full ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Trailer

It has been some time since we have seen new footage from Justin Kurzel’s Assassin’s Creed – Fox have finally brought out a full-length (and thankfully Kanye West-less) trailer for the film today! Be sure to take a look below:

Unlike most video game moves of its ilk, Assassin’s Creed boasts an incredible cast and creative team – with Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard reuniting with Kurzel, who directed the stunning Macbeth – and is actually an original story set within the existing storyline and universe of the games as opposed to an adaptation attempt. This project really has the potential to be the first great video game movie, and we can’t see what Kurzel brings out this holiday season.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Also starring Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Charlotte Rampling, Assassin’s Creed arrives in U.S. cinemas on December 21, followed by the UK on New Year’s Day. See the teaser trailer from May below:

  1. Bonjour
J’attends avec impatience la sortie de ce film de part le scénario et la relation père et fille Jérémy Irons et Marion Cotillard qui est sûrement son premier film dans ce registre et de çe retrouver devant Jérémy.
