Natalie Portman is Jackie Kennedy in Teaser Trailer For Pablo Larraín’s ‘Jackie’

Following a myriad of festival screenings, rave reviews, and a U.S. rights acquisition, Fox Searchlight have finally released the stunning teaser trailer for Pablo Larraín’s Jackie starring Natalie Portman, for whom this role may just be the gateway to that second Oscar! Be sure to check it out below:

JACKIE is a searing and intimate portrait of one of the most important and tragic moments in American history, seen through the eyes of the iconic First Lady, then Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy (Natalie Portman).  JACKIE places us in her world during the days immediately following her husband’s assassination.  Known for her extraordinary dignity and poise, here we see a psychological portrait of the First Lady as she struggles to maintain her husband’s legacy and the world of “Camelot” that they created and loved so well.

You can see the Jackie trailer on the big screen with The Birth of a NationJackie has its U.S. premiere October 13 at the New York Film Festival, and is released there on December 2.
